Obituary of Ettie Mae "Pat" Colson McMillan

Funeral services for Ettie Mae "Pat" Colson McMillan, age 60, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Epps Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Epps Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. McMillan, a resident of Epps, LA, passed away Friday, November 19, 2010 at Richland Parish Hospital. She was a beautician, a florist, and a retired staff sergeant of the U.S. Army Reserve. She was a member of Hegwood Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Ray McMillan; mother, Rossie Sanders; sisters, Maxine Whetstone, Myrtle Jones; and brothers, Bill Sanders and Charles Sanders. She is survived by two sons, Jeffery Shane Colson and Wendy Storm of Calhoun, LA, Adam Brock Colson and wife Jesseca of Epps, LA; two brothers, Clifton Sanders and wife Sherry of Sarepta, LA, Billy Sanders and wife Ann of Springhill, LA; three grandchildren, Melanie Faith Wyatt, Haley Abbygail Wyatt, Journey Rayne Bass; special sister-in-law, Kathern Wallace; special niece, Susan Weems; and several nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Nick Gibson, Jeffery Simmons, Jordan Bass, Brian Lingefelt, Dusty Green, and Brad Lingefelt.
