Obituary of DeLois Ratcliff

Funeral services for Mrs. DeLois Ratcliff, age 82, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at the chapel of Golden Fuenral Home with Rev. Eddie Rhymes officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 6-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ratcliff, a homemaker and resident of Bastrop, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Morehouse General Hospital. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Ratcliff is preceded in death by her husband, T.D. Ratcliff; sisters, Ruby Cloninger, Annie Dement; and brothers, J.H. Davis and Dalton Davis.
She is survived by her son, Thomas D. Ratcliff, Jr. and wife Vicky of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Meaghan Gregory and husband Steven of Bastrop, LA, Raeven Ratcliff of Bastrop, LA; sisters, Dorothy Nesbit of Florida, Shirley Bell and husband Billy of Monroe, LA; brothers, Elmer Ray "Pete" Davis and wife Eva of Collinston, LA, James "Bo" Davis and wife "Cat" of Collinston, LA, Robert Davis and wife Marilyn of Sterlington, LA; sisters-in-law, Bessie McMillin, Bobbie McGuffie; brother-in-law, Robert McGuffie; and nieces and nephews, Ronald and Sandra Dement, Susan and Barry Burroughs, Mike and Cindy Dement, Donald and Gidget Dement, and Gail and Gene Humphrey.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ronald Dement, Robert Davis, Bo Davis, Jason Duncan, James Brown, and Donald Dement. Honorary pallbearers are Steven Gregory, Pete Davis, Jason Mann, and Guy Bell.
