Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Mae "Bunnie" Keene, age 82, of Bastrop, LA will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Mr. Waymon Swain officiating under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 5 til 8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Keene, a homemaker and member of Central Church of Christ, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Lagniappe Health Care.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Keene Kendrick and husband Scott of Bastrop; son, Ronald E. Keene and wife Cindy of Bastrop; sister, Shirley Higgins of Waxahachie, TX; grandchildren, Katharine Clark-Keene Mortimer and husband Tyson of Chicago, IL, and Daniel Scott Kendrick, of Bastrop; nieces, Donna G. Davis, Cynthia Anderson, Karen Pullen, Sylvia Medrano, Beverly Johnson and nephew, Larry Leachman.
Mrs. Keene is preceded in death by her husband, William Allen Keene and sister, Helen Holland.
Honorary pallbearers will be; Gary Guice, Kenneth Looney, Tanny Tully, Buddy Frost, Lloyd Swain and Dr. Carter Cox.
