Funeral arrangments for Mrs. Aline Scott Williams, 94, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday December 8, 2010 at Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Roy Myers officiating. No graveside services will be held following the funeral. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday December 7, 2010 at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Williams, a homemaker, passed away Sunday December 5, 2010 at Cherry Ridge Guest Care Center of Bastrop. She is a founding member of West Side Baptist Church which is now Twin Oaks Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son Dave Williams and his wife Alice Beckworth Williams of Kimberling City, MO; grandchildren, J. D. Williams and wife Nicole of Portland, OR, Alison Williams of Sterlington, LA; great grandchildren, Kayleigh Rinehart of Ruston, LA, Christopher Williams of Sterlington, LA, and Finn Williams of Portland, OR.
Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her husband Cecil David Williams.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Louisiana Baptist Childrens home.
