Funeral services for Mr. Cody Cason, age 18, of Bastrop, La. are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. William Fowler officiating. Interment will follow in Bonita Road Baptist Church Cemetery.
Cody, a plumber's apprentice for Burn Mechanical in West Monroe, passed away, Sunday, December 17, 2006. He attended Bonita Road Baptist Church and was a member of the plumber's and steamfitter's local #659.
He is survived by his mother, Marisa Tubbs of Bastrop, LA; father, Chad Cason of Sheridan, AR; maternal grandfather, Gary Blake of Bastrop, LA; paternal grandparents, Barbara Nance of Sheridan, AR and Danny Cason of Plant City, FL; sister, Samantha Cason of Bastrop, LA; two brothers, Aaron Cason of Bastrop, LA, and Guy Cason of Sheridan, AR.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Martha Bolding.
Serving as pallbearers are: Phillip Bolding, Bracie Wilson, Wade Blake, Lee Petty, Kim Carter and Tyler Linley.
Honorary pallbearers are: Robert Gray, Jason West, B.J. Kingsworth and Otis Miller.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at Golden Funeral Home.
