Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Mae McKnight Nobles, 104, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2007 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Revs. Arrie Fulton and Dwight Fulton officiating. Interment will follow in the McKnight Cemetery, Holly Ridge, LA.
Mrs. Nobles, a homemaker and member of United Pentecostal Church, passed away Saturday, April 28 at Cherry Ridge Guest Care Center.
She is survived by six daughters, Eva Ezell of Bastrop, LA, Mildred Gwin of Dayton, TX, Geneva Britton of Bastrop, LA, Laura Myers and husband Harold of Downsville, LA, Carra Duncan and husband Jeffery of Bastrop, LA, Elaine Sims and husband Cecil of Bonita, LA; son, J.L. McKnight and wife Jeanette of Bastrop, LA; daughter in-law, Frances McKnight of Star City, AR; brother, Everett Sudduth of Dry Prong, LA; twenty one grandchildren, forty six great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Nobles is preceded in death by husbands, Joseph William McKnight and Frank Nobles; sons, Charles Edward McKnight and James Clifton McKnight; granddaughter, Ladenna Easterly and a great grandson, Michael Gwin.
Serving as pallbearers are: Joel Beal, Dewayne McKnight, Wayne McKnight, Shelton Ezell, Edward Phillips and Heath Rawls.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2007 at Golden Funeral Home.
