Funeral services for Zelma Lue Massey, age 69, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday January 4, 2007 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Vic Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Massey, a homemaker, passed away Monday January 1, 2007. She was a resident of Bastrop and a member of Faith Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim & Nellie Perser; three sisters; and one brother.
She is survived by her husband, F.D. Massey; two daughters, Gail Rainbolt & husband Ricky of Maumelle, AR, Dollie Massey of Rayville; one son, Garry Massey & wife Kim of Bastrop; one sister, Mary Louise McGathy of Hensley, AR; one brother, James E. Perser of Florida; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Castleberry, Justin Black, Jeremy Black, Brandon Massey, Bryan Massey, and Ernest Rainbolt. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Taylor and Raymond Garner.
