Obituary of Jr. Ferrell

Funeral services for Mr. Henry Ferrell Jr., age 81, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday January 18, 2007 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Vic Carter offciating. Interment will follow in Bonita Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Ferrell, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Tuesday January 16, 2006 at Morehouse General Hospital. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and had previously served on the Police Jury for eight years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He is preceded in death by his wife, Eva Mae Ferrell; parents, Harvey & Paralee Crenshaw; and brother, Boyd Crenshaw. Mr. Ferrell is survived by his daughter, Rita Gay Donovan of West Monroe; three grandchildren, Emily King & husband Billy of Bastrop, Mauri Fincher & husband Jason of Edmond, OK, Regina Gaudet & husband Lee of Mill Valley, CA; two great grandchildren, Mason King and Maddox King, both of Bastrop; five sisters, Katherine Basso of South Carolina, Marion Barthol of Jones, Shirlean Pruitt of Bastrop, Emmie Kinnaird of Hamburg, AR, Patricia Wells of Monroe; two brothers, Robert Crenshaw of Little Rock, AR,and Joe Crenshaw of Bastrop. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Armstrong, Danny Atchley, Chad Atchley, John Sharp, Jack Haynes, Tommy Gregory. Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Sloan and W.L. Hopkins.
