Funeral services for Mr. Thurston R. Watters, age 70, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday January 23, 2007, at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Britt Dupree officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Bastrop. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 12-2 p.m. at Goldens.
Mr. Watters, a retired salesman, passed away Friday January 19, 2007. He was a resident of West Monroe, formerly of Bastrop. He is preceded in death by his parents, W.D. Watters & Myrtis Watters Shamblin.
He is survived by his wife, Susie Watters of West Monroe; son, Troy L. Watters of Monroe; brother, Ronny Watters & wife Carolyn of Monroe.
