Obituary of Lucille Wallace Dopson

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Wallace Dopson, age 82, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday January 24, 2007, at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Eppinette and Rev. Steve Fleming officiating. Interment will be in Christ Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at Goldens. Mrs. Dopson, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Monday January 22, 2007, at Cherry Ridge Guest Care. She was a homemaker and member of Bonita Road Assembly of God. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Genie Dopson; parents, Thomas J. & Minnie McIntyre Wallace; brother, Marlin Wallace; and sister, Blanche Hughes. She is survived by three daughters, Jeanie Rainbolt & husband Jack of Bastrop, Shelba McGee of McGehee, AR, Connie Diaz & husband Rigo of Houston, TX; sister, Gloria Spikes of Bastrop; two brothers, Berlon Wallace of Bastrop, Willard Wallace of Bastrop; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Bulloch, Arnold Lowther, William Lowther, Hardy Eppinette, Eugene Hughes, and Gary Mizell. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Hammons, Caleb Mizell, Slade Bradley, Michael John Bulloch, and Brandon Bulloch.
