Funeral services for Beatrice "Bea" Cheshier, age 83, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday January 24, 2007 at Memorial Methodist Church with Rev. Bo Horne and Rev. Ramon Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cheshier, a homemaker and resident of Bastrop, passed away Monday January 22, 2007. She was a member of Memorial Methodist Church where she was in the church choir. She was also a charter member of the Morehouse General Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by her husband, C.L. Cheshier; parents, Willie & Elizabeth Cathey; sister, Carrie Tipton; and brothers, Virgil Cathey and O.J. Cathey.
She is survived by her son, Chris Cheshier of Dallas, TX.
