Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Jo Stanley Orr, 69, of Bastrop are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, February 11, 2007 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Stevenson Cemetery.
Mrs. Orr, a retired Social Worker for the State of Louisiana for 20 years and member of Grace Baptist Church, passed away Friday, February 9, 2007 at her residence.
She is survived by her husband, Acie Orr; mother, Sarah Jane Stanley of Bastrop; daughters, Terri Orr Starks and husband Robyn of Clinton, LA, Cindy Orr Eldridge and husband Sammy of Bastrop, Barbara "Babi" Orr Pagillo of Roswell, GA; son, Joel Kevin Orr and wife Phyllis of Dallas, TX; eight grandchildren, Niki Eldridge Campanale, Trey Eldridge, Lacy Starks Hill, Ryan Starks, Joshua Pagillo, Kevin Orr, Rachel Pagillo, William Orr; three great grandchildren, Joey Campanale, Allie Eldridge and Aiden Eldridge.
Mrs. Orr is preceded in death by her father, Joe Stanley and brother, John Stanley.
Serving as pallbearers will be Trey Eldridge, Ryan Starks, Joshua Pagillo, Kevin Orr, William Orr, Kaley Hill and Tony Campanale.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 10, 2007 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
