Obituary of Susie H. Cascio

Funeral services for Mrs. Susie H. Cascio, age 71, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday February 14, 2007 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Eppinette and Rev. Louis Couch officiating. Interment will follow in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-9 Tuesday evening at Goldens. Mrs. Cascio, a homemaker, passed away Sunday February 11, 2007 at Morehouse General Hospital. She was a resident of Bastrop, LA and a member of Maplewood Baptist Church. She loved working in her yard, playing the organ, and sewing. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul & Annie Ruth Thomas. She is survived by her husband, Carl "C.S." Cascio; eight children, Tinky Pickering & husband Mitchell of Fairmount, GA, Owana Smith of Bastrop, LA, Mike Cascio & wife Donna of Yazoo City, MS, Carl Cascio & wife Tommie of Brookhaven, MS, Paula Graves & husband Zane of Simsboro, LA, Johnny Cascio of Rocky Branch, LA, Connie Thompson & husband Dennis of Rome, GA, Bart Cascio of GA; siblings, Barney Harris, Joe Harris, Paula Jones, Johnny Thomas, Jimmy Thomas, Dorothy Spillers; nineteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Jamie Cascio, Josh Black, Clint Smith, Jonathan Cascio, Tony Pickering, and Carl Cascio, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Cascio, Christian Garrison, and Matt Pickering.
