Graveside funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Bond, 90, formerly of Hamburg, Arkansas have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at Pinewood Memorial Park in Hamburg, Arkansas with Bro. Nolan Ferrell officiating. Mrs. Bond, a homemaker and member of Hebron Baptist Church in Carmack, MS. died Saturday, October 2, 2004 at Oak Woods Home for the Elderly in Mer Rouge.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Frances Reeves of Adams Run, SC, Peggy Fontenot and husband Don of Collinston, LA; two sons, Willie Frank Bond and wife Jo of Crossett, AR, Bobby Bond and wife Hazel of Warren, AR; three sisters, Sudie Kay Hodges of Koseiusko, MS, Bernice Haire of Winona, MS, Dorothy King of Winona, MS; brother, James Marion Strahan of Ethel, MS; eighteen grandchildren and twenty seven great grandchildren.
Mrs. Bond is preceded in death by her husband, Willie S. Bond; parents, George Nebraska and Lottie Mae Strahan; brother, Hilman Strahan; three sisters, Olivia Cook, Grace Rimmer, Mildred Burden and son in-law, Mac Reeves.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 4, 2004 at Golden Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.
