Mr. Sammy Ray Chelette, a contract painter, age 57, of Welsh, LA., passed away December 14, 2006 at Summerlin Lane Nursing Home in Bastrop, LA. He was a U.S. Army and Navy veteran having served in the Vietnam War.
Mr. Chelette is survived by his father, Huey P. Chelette of Bastrop, LA; daughter, Rocksanne L. Graham of Camden, AR; two sisters, Gail Reeves of Bastrop, LA, Janice Gullett of Eades, TN; brother, Robert Chelette of Welsh, LA; two grandchildren, Maranda Russell and Meghan Russell.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Chelette and a brother, Carl David Chelette.
