Funeral services for Mr. Billy Wayne Perry, 65, a lifelong resident of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2007 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Eppinette officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery.
Mr. Perry, a retired Millwright, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Cornerstone Hospital in West Monroe, LA. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He served his country during the Vietnam War as a missile communications technician in the United States Air Force.
Mr. Perry is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Perry; daughter, Marsha Perry Davis and husband Brett of Minden, LA; two sisters, Patsy Ruth Branch of Monroe, LA, Glenda Kay Perry of Bastrop, LA; brother, Jimmy Alton Perry of Collinston, LA; three grandchildren, Conner Brett Davis, William Scott Davis, Jaxon Paul Davis; two nephews and two nieces.
He is preceded in death by his father, W. Alton Perry; mother, M. Pearl Perry and a sister Janet Perry.
Serving as pallbearers are: Hugh Herrington, Matt Nicolle, Lane Pipes, Justin Justice, Buddy Savage and Rector Hopgood.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2007 at Golden Funeral Home.
