Graveside funeral services for William "Butch" Black, Jr., age 57, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday March 6, 2007 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Jim Brent officiating. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6:30-9:00 p.m.
Mr. Black, a carpenter, passed away March 4, 2007 at Morehouse General Hospital. He was a resident of Bastrop and loved to deer hunt and fish. He is preceded in death by his father, William B. Black, Sr.; brother, Gary Black.
He is survived by his mother, Helen Johnson of St. Louis, MO; two sisters, Alandia Anderson & husband James "Cotton" of Bastrop, Sherrie Marshall & husband Billy of St. Louis, MO; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Anderson, Steven "Joey" Anderson, Jeremy Black, and Justin Black.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Jr.
