Obituary of Frances DeEtte Haddox

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances DeEtte Haddox, 87, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Dr. L.H. McCollough officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Haddox, a retired secretary at Bastrop High School with 30 years of service, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2007 at Cherry Ridge Guest Care. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she served in many volunteer capacities. She was also a member of Kappa Kappa Iota and the Louisiana Teachers Association.
She is survived by her son, William Kinny Haddox and wife DiAnne of Olive Branch, MS (formerly Bastrop); two grandchildren, Adam Haddox and wife Lauren of Baton Rouge, LA, Julie Davis and husband Andy of Monroe, LA; sister in-law, Ezie Kinnison of Hollywood, FL and host of Nieces and Nephews.
Mrs. Haddox is preceded in death by her parents, George and Romaline Kinnison; husband, William Clayton Haddox; two brothers, Herschel and Virgil Kinnison.
Serving as pallbearers are: Paul Laird, Frank Zametto, David Brumfield, Steven Parker, Adam Haddox, Andy Davis and Gary Cooper.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Golden Funeral Home.
The family extends a special thanks for the love and prayers of the members at First Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home in Monroe.
