Obituary of Dexter Alan Pipes

Funeral services for Dexter Alan Pipes, 18, of Collinston, LA are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Job Edathinattu officiating. Dexter, a senior at Prairie View Academy, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2007. He enjoyed playing football and soccer and was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his parents, Chester and Maria Pipes of Collinston, LA; sister, Miranda Pipes of Collinston, LA; maternal grandmother, Lucille Easterling of Monroe, LA; Aunts and Uncles, M.L. and Pat Henderson of Epps, LA, Mike Easterling of West Monroe, LA, Bruce Easterling of Monroe, LA, Nelson and Connie Pipes of Collinston, LA and Elizabeth Perry of Bastrop, LA. Dexter is preceded in death by his grandparents, Paulette and Elizabeth Pipes and A.P. Easterling. Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Golden Funeral Home.
