Obituary of Rosa Mirabella Roan Faller

Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Mirabella Roan Faller, age 87, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday March 17, 2007, at the First Church of God in Bastrop with Rev. Dalyn Helbling officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Faller, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Wednesday March 14, 2007, at Morehouse General Hospital. She was a retired Single Service employee of International Paper Company. She was a member of First Church of God, where she had taught Sunday School. She is preceded in death by husband, J.T. Roan; granddaughter, Dana Jo Roan; daughter-in-law, Betty Sue Perkins Roan; great grandson, Patrick Brent Markham; sister, Lena Mirabella Brown; brother, Paul Mirabella; and sister, Josephine Mirabella Elmore. She is survived by husband, Robert S. Faller; four sons, Jerald "Stumpy" Roan & wife Brenda Brodnax Roan of Crossett, AR, Joseph Allan "Joe" Roan & wife Ann Garrett Roan of Chatham, LA, James Ray "Jimmy" Roan & wife Rose Gates Roan of Crossett, AR, John Thomas "Doodle" Roan of Jonesboro, LA; one daughter, Joyce Ann Roan of Fayetteville, AR; one brother, Frank Mirabella & wife Mary Jane Guarnere Mirabella of Bridge City, TX; one sister, Annie Mirabella Guarnere & husband Nick Guarnere of Brookland, TX; sixteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Roan, Jeff Roan, Rick Roan, John Mark Dietle, Jomichael Roan, and Colt Roan. Honorary pallbearers will be Chase Roan, Chad Hines, Cody Hines, Gregory Stephens, Joshua Heath Hoff, McKensie Hoff, Jonathan Roan, Bruce Cook, and Jordan Kennedy.
