Obituary of Doris Mae Weber

Funeral services for Doris Mae Evans Weber, age 83, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2004, at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. William Fowler officiating. Burial will follow in Stevenson Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday at Goldens from 11 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Weber died October 7, 2004, at the Grace Home in Shreveport. She was born Feb. 14, 1921 and was a native of Vaughn. She was a resident of Lake Sherwood Village Retirement Community in Baton Rouge, and a former resident of Bastrop. She was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her son, Lamar Weber & wife Iris of Baton Rouge; daughter, Linda Weber of Katy, TX; daughter, Beverly Weber Byrd & husband Dr. William Byrd of Shreveport; son, Danny Weber & wife Leah of Baton Rouge; sisters, Eunice Evans Crew of Atlanta, TX; Ellistene Evans Freeland of Beekman; grandchildren, Michael Todd Weber & wife Debra of Houston, TX, Tavee Guerin & husband Stephen of Greenwell Springs, LA, Jennifer Maxwell of Shreveport, Kevan Wilson & wife Diana of Sugarland, TX, Jessica Maxwell of Dallas, TX, Christy Marquez & husband Daniel of Laporte, TX, Danielle and Landon Weber of Baton Rouge; great grandchildren, Jace, Rance, Cade, Brant and Quint Guerin of Greenwell Springs, LA, Trinity Wilson of Sugarland, TX, and Chelsea Barnes of Houston, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband Roy Weber, brothers, Linzy and Houston Evans, parents, John Ellis Evans & Eugenie Barham Evans & Velma Kinney Evans. She will be remembered and missed by all those who knew her.
