Obituary of Judith Ann "Floyie" Hickman

Funeral services for Mrs. Judith Ann "Floyie" Hickman, age 69, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Black officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 6-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Floyie, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Morehouse General Hospital. Floyie was a very talented artist and was known for always putting others needs before her own. She managed and owned many different businesses throughout her lifetime. "MuMu" dearly loved her entire family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Hickman; daughter, Evelyn Leigh Hickman; parents, Lloyd Van and Birdie Hogan; sister, Varnis "Sister" Hogan Orr; brother, Jake Laverne Hogan; and two brothers-in-law, Harold Ray and Frank Marshall. Floyie is survived by her daughter, Jeannine Hickman Shepherd and husband Billy of Wylie, TX; son, Daniel Hickman and wife Barbara of Crossett, AR; two sisters, Emmie Jean Hogan Ray of Garland, TX, Juliet Hogan Marshall of Bastrop, LA; two brothers, David Edward Hogan of Bastrop, LA, Steve Edward Hogan of Bastrop, LA; five grandchildren, Misty Rothenberger, Robert Daniel Hickman, Aaron Shepherd, Fallon Netherland, Jared Hickman; nine great grandchildren, Mariah Mayes, Savanah Mayes, Mason Rothenberger, Kelsey Hickman, Fathom Hickman, Caden Shepherd, Connor Shepherd, Jace Netherland, Jude Netherland; and many loving nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hickman's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
