Obituary of Margarette M. Parks

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Margarette M. Parks, 80, of Jacksonville, Florida are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Chris A. Coram officiating. Mrs. Parks went home to be with the Lord on Thursday evening, May 10, 2007 in Jacksonville, Florida. She is a native of Bastrop, Louisiana and had resided in Jacksonville for many years. She retired from Security Life Insurance Company and worked part-time for Florida Headset Supply. Mrs. Parks was a member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church. Mrs. Parks was preceded in death by her husband, Sedley Lewis Parks on May 13, 1984. She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Ruth Davis; several nieces and nephews; extended family and church family. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Lottie Moon Foreign Missions Offering, C/O North Jacksonville Baptist Church, 8531 N. Main St., Jacksonville, FL 32218. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
