Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Chancellor Pringle, 83, of Bastrop have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2004 at Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ron Drummond officiating. Burial will follow in Hughes Chapel Cemetery near Beekman.
Mrs. Pringle, a sales clerk and homemaker, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2004 at Morehouse General Hospital.
She is survived by two daughters, June Pringle Mattison of Utica, MS and Joyce Pringle Howie of Spencer, LA; two brothers, John Monroe Chancellor of Seattle, WA and Jack Clayton Pringle of Mena, AR; five grandchildren, Leesa Howie Travis of Memphis, TN, Steven Howie of Columbia, SC, Scott Howie of Spencer, LA, Cynthia Mattison Adam of Cutoff, LA and Brad Mattison of Jackson, MS; six great grandchildren, William Travis, Joe Pollet, Christopher Howie, April Adam, Sarah Ann Howie and Annaleigh Mattison.
Mrs. Pringle is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Arthur W. Pringle and her parents, John Monroe Chancellor and Lena Brown Pringle.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons: Steven Howie, Scott Howie, Brad Mattison, Joe Pollet and Chris Howie.
Visitation will be Friday, November 5, 2004 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
