Funeral services for Millard S. "Hank" Hendrix, age 80, of Bastrop, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday Nov. 10, 2004 at the Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Hendrix, a retired instrument electrician with International Paper Company and former owner of Hank's Radio and TV. died Nov. 7, 2004 at Glenwood Hospital. Mr. Hendrix was a member of Bastrop Church of Christ and an U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Hendrix; three daughters, Patricia Bowen & husband Terry of Bastrop, Lesia Coleman & husband Johnny of Bastrop, Mary Hendrix of West Monroe; son, Charles Hendrix & wife Claudia of Rayville; sister, Clezell Robbins of Oakman, AL; two brothers, Elton Hendrix & wife Barbara of San Diego, CA, Lee Hendrix & wife Nina of Tulsa, OK; seven grandchildren, Stephen Bowen & wife Ramona, Laura Phillips & husband Andy, Mary Ellen Bowen, Cassie Price & husband Chris, Carrie Hendrix, Lee Coleman, Pam Coleman; four great grandchildren, Taylor Mason, Kristen Bowen, Lane Bowen and Garrett Phillips.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004 from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Lee Coleman, Stephen Bowen, Andy Phillips, Chris Price, Bradley Allen and Marshal Johnston.
