Obituary of Marie Pamplin

Funeral services for Marie Pamplin, 81, of Shreveport, LA are scheduled for 3 PM Saturday, May 19, 2007 at Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marty Black officiating. Interment will follow at Christ Church Cemetery. Ms. Pamplin, a retired Technician at AT&T and a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Shreveport, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2007 at Garden Park Nursing Home, Shreveport, LA. She was a member of the Queensboro Chapter of the Eastern Star and she was always helping others. Ms. Pamplin is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Lee Manning and husband Earl of Shreveport, LA; a son, Johnny D. Pamplin, Jr. and wife Joyce of Shreveport, LA; two sisters, Dell Watson and husband Kenneth of Downsville, LA, Virginia Ingram of Bastrop, LA; a brother, Hubert Aulds and wife Sue of Bastrop, LA; five grandchildren, Vonda Woodliff of Allan Park, MI, Cynthia Peters of Albuquerque, NM, Ronald Lowery of Lake Charles, LA, Glenn Manning of West Monroe, LA, Tanya Hopfinger of West Monroe, LA; nine great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Ezra and Ivan Aulds. Visitation will be held from 5-9 PM Friday, May 18, 2007 at Golden Funeral Home.
