Funeral services for Mr. Raymond Roberts, 71, of Bastrop are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2007 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Roberts was a Chief Inspector for Gas Pipeline Companies. He was a Master Mason and a member of the Barak Shriners.
He is survived by his wife, Willie Mae Roberts; son, Randy Roberts of Lake City, FL; two brothers, Tommy Roberts and wife Jane of Columbia, LA, Aubrey Roberts of AR; three grandchildren, Christopher Roberts and wife Rachel of Lake Butler, FL, Justin Roberts and wife Kegan of Lake City, FL and Jennifer Roberts Harrington and husband Travis of Lake City, FL.
Mr. Roberts is preceded in death by his parents, James A. and Viola Roberts and a sister.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2007 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
