Graveside services for Mr. John Shuff, age 75, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Loch Arbor Cemetery with Rev Andy Myrick officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Shuff, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Morehouse General Hospital. He was a retired Army veteran having served in the Vietnam and Korean Wars. He was serving at Fort Polk when he retired. After his military career, he worked as a truck driver.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Winnie Shuff and brother, Herman Shuff.
Mr. Shuff is survived by his wife, Hannelore Shuff of Bastrop, LA; son, Robert Shuff of Bastrop, LA; sister, Judy Mayo and husband Bo of Texarkana, TX; two brothers, Harold Shuff and wife Florence of Bastrop, LA, Harry Shuff of Bastrop, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
