View Video Tribute Funeral services for Mr. Billy Ray Cowden, 59, of Collinston, LA are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2007 ay the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Loveday officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery. Mr. Cowden, a retired truck driver and member of First Baptist Church in Collinston, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Cowden; three daughters, Beverly Jordan and husband Todd of Monroe, LA, Cheryl Gregory of Sunset, LA, Cindy Wyatt of Goldsboro, NC; son, Alan Wyatt and wife Serat of Cheyenne, WY; four sisters, Jean Hopkins of Mer Rouge, LA, Margaret Thompson of Kilbourne, LA, Lynn Green of Kilbourne, LA, Brenda Cowden of Oak Grove, LA; five brothers, Richard Cowden of Oak Grove, LA, Fred Cowden of Keithville, LA, Bobby Cowden of Denton, TX, David Cowden of Keithville, LA, Earl Cowden of Kilbourne, LA; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; mother in-law, Mae Castleberry; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Mr. Cowden is preceded in death by his parents, George and Inez Cowden; sister, Eva Nell Misner and two brothers, George Cowden, Jr. and Ernest Alvin Cowden. Pallbearers will be Troy Thompson, Jason Cowden, Brandon Skipper, David Cowden, Jr., Fred Cowden, Jr., and Matthew Cowden. Honorary pallbearers are: R.J. Arnauld and Patrick Miller. Visitation will be held Friday, May 25, 2007 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
