Graveside funeral services for Edith Stringer, 82 , of Haugton,La., formerly of Bastrop, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, April 2,2004 at Christ Church Cemetery in Bastrop under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stringer, a homemaker, died March 30,2004 in Bossier City,La.
She is survived by one daughter, Merrilyn Lincecum and husband Chet of Haughton,LA; three sons, Jimmy Stringer and wife Vickie of Lufkin,TX, Ray Stringer and wife Peggy of Concordia,MO, Steve Stringer of Tustin,CA; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Mrs. Stringer is preceded in death by her husband, Odis Stringer; son, Jeffrey Stringer; sister, Mallie Thompson; three brothers, Jack Hester, Glendon Hester and L.C. Hester.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at Golden Funeral Home on Friday, April 2,2004.
