Obituary of Annie Blackledge

Funeral services for Annie Mae Blackledge, 84, of Midland, TX, formerly of Bastrop, will be 10am Thursday, December 9, 2004, at Golden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William Fowler officiating. Burial will follow at Red Wing Cemetery near Oak Grove, LA. Mrs. Blackledge, a home maker, died Sunday, December 5, 2004, at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband, James C. Blackledge; 3 sisters, Asha Marie Bolton Hicks, Doris Loree Kennedy, Alice Marie Holley; 2 brothers, Dewey Irby, James E. Irby; and by a great grandson, Dillon Kyle Moore. Mrs. Blackledge is survived by a daughter, Joycie Mae Tarry & husband Tommy of Roswell, NM; a son, James H. Blackledge & wife Ruth Ann of Midland, TX; 3 sisters, Helen Lucille Miller of Pineland, TX, Georgia Ethel Deal of Monroe, LA, Ida Mae Mercer of Oak Grove, LA; a brother, Jessie Irby of Bastrop, LA; 3 grandchildren, Michael Blackledge, Jamie Moore, Shane Tarry; and by 6 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Lynn Miller, Dennis Irby, Shane Tarry, Andrew Tarry, Thomas Tarry, & James Jones. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at Golden Funeral Home from 5 to 9 pm.
