Funeral services for Jon Clifton DeBlieux, age 51, of Bastrop, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday December 11, 2004 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bastrop with Father John Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Ridge Cemetery, Hermitage, AR. Visitation will be Friday from 5-9 at Golden Funeral Home with a vigil prayer service at 7p.m. Mr. DeBlieux, a welder, died December 8, 2004 at Morehouse General Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Rikki DeBlieux; parents, James & Theresa DeBlieux of Bastrop; mother in law, Edna Hutchinson of El Dorado, AR; three sons, Shane DeBlieux & wife Heather of El Dorado, AR, James Lamar DeBlieux & wife Brandy of Memphis, TN, Jonatan DeBlieux of Bastrop; six sisters, Janice DeBlieux of St. Amant, Liz DeBlieux of Bastrop, Terri Stephens of Montgomery, AL, Amy Ederington of Bastrop, Carol Rodgers of Bastrop, Jamie Rainbolt of Bastrop; five grandchildren, Morgan Diane DeBlieux, James Devin DeBlieux, Kolton DeBlieux, Karson DeBlieux and Tiffaney Murphree.
He is preceded in death by a son, James Murphree DeBlieux; brother, Donald Joseph DeBlieux; grandparents, Louis & Ozet DeBlieux and Mrs. Mildred Patterson.
Pallbearers will be Ed Haughterman, Andy Thornton, Randy Rodgers, James Hawkins, Mark Coleman and Allen Wooley. Honorary pallbearers will be the Vernon Sawyer shop employees, Matt Waller and Ronnie Donahoe.
