Obituary of Joan Kelley

Funeral services for Joan Kelley, age 79, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Ingram officiating. Interment will follow in Promise Land Cemetery, Hamburg, AR. Visitation will be held Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kelley, a resident of Richmond, VA, formerly of Bastrop, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2011. She was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed doing arts and crafts and traveling.
She is survived by her son, Michael D. Kelley and wife Judy of Richmond, VA; brother, Elwood Sumner and wife Wilma of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, David M. Kelley of Richmond, VA and Shawn W. Kelley of Richmond, VA, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Kelley is preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Kelley, her daughter, Michelle Kelley, her two sisters and three brothers.
Serving as pallbearers are: Jim Bonsall, Larry Fryday, Charlie Peterson, Neal DeForest, Charles Carroll and Charles Moore.
The family requests that memorial be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington DC 20090-6011 or Promise land Cemetery Association
