Funeral services for R. D. "Boots" Reynolds, 88, of Atlanta, TX, formerly of Bastrop, are scheduled for 11 AM Tuesday, December 14, 2004, at Golden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Ingram officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Reynolds, a retired International Paper Company employee of 45 years, died Sunday, December 12, 2004, at Golden Villa Nursing Home in Atlanta, TX.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church-Bastrop and a veteran of WWII. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Henry & Lou Reynolds; and by 5 brothers and 1 sister.
Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife, Mary Evelyn Reynolds; a daughter, Carol Ann Reynolds Crew & husband Jerry of Idabell, OK; a son, Richard "Ricky" Reynolds & wife Kay of Atlanta, TX; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Klark Reynolds, Kraig Reynolds, Matt Crew, Jeff Crew, Keith O'Rear, Mark Robinson, & Justin Robinson.
Visitation will be Monday, December 13, 2004, from 6-9 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
