Funeral services for Virgie Wyatt Phillips, 74, of Bastrop have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at the Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. John Wright officiating. Commital services will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Phillips, a retired Nurses Aide, passed away December 13, 2004 at Morehouse General Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Barnie Phillips; daughter, Tammie Phillips of Bastrop; two sons, Glen Phillips and wife Shasidee of Bastrop, Ken Phillips and wife Faye of Bastrop; two sisters, Shirley Goodwin and Barbara Burke both of Bastrop; three grandchildren, Taylor Phillips, Fred Phillips, Andrew Phillips and great grandson, Garrett Phillips.
Mrs. Phillips was a member of Bastrop Church of Christ.
Members of the church will be serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 13, 2004 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
