Obituary of Ruby Wolfe

Funeral services for Ruby Irene Wolfe, 83, of Bastrop have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, December 24, 2004 at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Walter Hickman officiating. Burial will follow in Christ Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Wolfe, a retired nurse and member of Bethany Baptist Church passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at Morehouse General Hospital. She is survived by one daughter, Jacqueline Sue French and husband Terry of Meridian, MS.; three sons, Noko Melvin Wolfe and wife Alice of Harrison, AR., Jerry L. Wolfe and wife Ann of Bastrop, LA., Tony Lynn Wolfe and wife Judy of Murfreesboro, TN.; sister, Mary Mildred Townsend of Bastrop, LA.; fourteen grandchildren, numerous great and great great grandchildren and a special friend Clarice Taylor of Sterlington, LA. Mrs. Wolfe is preceded in death by her husband Noko Crawford Wolfe. Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Johnson, Gary Burke, Richard Wolfe, Mike Adair, Jimmy Wolfe and William Wolfe. Honorary pallbearers are the Deacons of Bethany Baptist Church. Visitation is scheduled for 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2004 at Bethany Baptist Church.
