Funeral services for Luvenia Williams Stephenson, age 88, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. C.J. Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9-10 a.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stephenson, a retired LPN, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011. She was a resident of Bastrop and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Grover C. Stephenson; daughter, Barbara Ann Stephenson; and several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Stephenson is survived by three sons, Jerry Stephenson and wife Virginia of Bastrop, Billy Stephenson of Mer Rouge, Royce Stephenson and wife Diane of Bastrop; twelve grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; and twelve great great grandchildren.
Grandsons and family friends will serve as pallbearers.
