Obituary of Loretta Clement

Funeral services for Mrs. Loretta Clement, a resident of Gilbert, LA will be held at the Hillview Freewill Baptist Church in Bastrop on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 2 PM with Rev. R. H. McCuin officiating. Interment will follow in Mer Rouge Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Clement, age 57, was a retired offshore steward and attended the Golden Meadow Methodist Church. She was a talented lady and loved to both cook and sew. Mrs. Clement was preceded in death by her father, Winfred Dale Chappell, Sr. and her son Bobby Clement, Jr. She is survived by her mother Mildred Chappell of Bastrop; two children, Amber Jewel Clement of El Dorado, AR and Shane Allen Clement and wife April of Bastrop; her sister, Dale Ford of Monroe, LA; and two brothers, Winfred Chappell, Jr. and Carl Allen Chappell, both of West Monroe. She is also survived by four grandchildren, fiance, Jerry Sanders and her long-time pet and companion, her dog Casper. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10 AM until 12 noon at the Hillview Freewill Baptist Church.
