Obituary of Bobby Gene Pruitt

Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Gene Pruitt, age 53, of Bastrop are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, July 14, 2011 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Cecil Harvey and Ronnie Marsh officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery. Mr. Pruitt, a Field Supervisor at Pulpmill Services, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at his residence. He loved to hunt and was a member of River Hunting Club. Mr. Pruitt is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Michelle Pruitt; son, Cody Seth Pruitt; fiancee' Christine Tomlinson; father, William Leon Pruitt; sister, Shirley Pruitt and Jack Middleton all of Bastrop, brother, Leon Pruitt and wife Cathy of Gulfport, MS and a precious Grandbaby on the way. He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirlean Marie Pruitt; father-in-law, Odell Marsh. Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Pruitt, Derek Pruitt, Mike McKoin, Tracey, Cliff, Shane Florence, Nathan Lee, and Harley Osgood. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jackie Hudson, and Ronnie Marsh. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
