Obituary of Madison Bradford "Toe" Musgrove

Mr. Madison Bradford "Toe" Musgrove, age 66, of Bastrop, LA, a retired painter, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Morehouse General Hospital. He was born November 1, 1944 in Bastrop and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed making homemade wine and giving to his friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow in the Musgrove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Musgrove is survived by three sisters, Phyllis Caldwell of Bastrop, LA, Patsy Barton of Tickfaw, LA, Lucy Hutson of Mangham, LA; three brothers, Phillip Musgrove of Bastrop, LA, Juan Musgrove of Bastrop, LA and Douglas Musgrove of Fountain Hill, AR. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Mark Musgrove and Inez Pettis Musgrove; a son, Madison B. Musgrove, Jr.; two brothers, John M. "Bootsie" Musgrove, Terry "Horn" Musgrove; three sisters, Shirlyn Gail Musgrove; Genova "Hefer" Rushing and Carletta Ogima. Serving as pallbearers are: Tab Musgrove, Ricky Hutson, Tommy "Brother" Musgrove, Bobby Musgrove, Chuck Lord and Steve Sistrunk. "Toe" dearly loved all of his family and friends.
