Obituary of Richard "Rudy" Neathery

Funeral services for Mr. Richard "Rudy" Neathery, age 57, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Christian Full Gospel Church with Rev. Danny Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Bartholomew Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday at the church. Mr. Neathery, a truck driver and member of Full Calvary Baptist Church, passed away July 23, 2011 at Morehouse General Hospital. He loved to fish and taught many children to love it also. He is survived by his wife, Robbie Sims; sister, Theresa Allred of Bastrop, LA; two nephews, James Allred and Robert Allred both of Bastrop, LA; niece, Candice Allred of Bastrop, LA; five great nieces and nephews and a special friend, Tony Peoples and wife Terri of Bastrop, LA. Mr. Neathery is preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Mary Neathery.
