Graveside funeral services for Charles R. Karnes, 88, of Bastrop, La. have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, January 14,2005 at Christ Church Cemetery with Rev. Jim Crain officiating. Mr. Karnes, a retired machinist, U.S. Marine Corps. veteran and member of Central Missionary Baptist Church died Thursday, January 13,2005 at Morehouse General Hospital.
Mrs. Karnes is survived by his wife, Bertha Graham Karnes and a son, Daniel Karnes of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, January 13,2005 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
