Funeral services for Mr. Jerry H. Havens, age 76, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday June 17, 2007 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Havens, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Friday June 15, 2007 at Morehouse General Hospital. He was a retired crane operator. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, member of the American Legion, and member of the VFW.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mae Havens; sons, Guy Randall Havens, Jerry Michael Havens; and granddaughter, Jessica Marie Havens.
Mr. Havens is survived by his daughter, Belinda Havens Brewer & husband Charlie of Pea Ridge, AR; son, Kenneth W. Havens of Bastrop; sister, Tessie H. Robinson & husband Von of Bastrop; grandchildren, Lorin Havens, Chad Havens, Justin Havens, Jeremy May, Josh Havens, Mark Havens, Brandon Havens, Brianna Brewer, Autumn Brewer, Nicole Brewer; great grandchildren, Dillon Havens, Evan Havens, Soren Havens, Haleigh May; daughters-in-law, Gail D. Havens, Marilyn Gayle Havens, Penny Havens; and numerous nieces & nephews.
