Funeral services for Mr. Charles Wesley "Wes" Kendall, Jr., of Bastrop, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011 at East Haven Church of God with Rev. David Sistruk and Rev. Kelvin Copeland officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Kendall, age 70, a retired DOTD employee and member of East Haven Church of God, passed away Monday, July 25, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Kendall; daughter, Melissa Durrett and husband B. Jay of Ruston, LA; sons, Chip Kendall and wife Becky of Shreveport, LA, Wayne Pagan and wife Cindy of Bossier City, LA; brother, Ellis Kendall and wife Kasey of Stanford, KY; grandchildren, Miranda Pagan, Matthew Pagan, Noah Durrett, Hayden Durrett, and Liam Durrett; numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Mr. Kendall is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Wesley Kendall, Sr. and Annie Kendall; brothers, Robert Kendall and Thomas Kendall.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 29, 2011 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
