Obituary of Steven Mitchell Andrews

Steven Mitchell Andrews, 51, of Bastrop, died Wednesday July 27, 2011 at Herman Memorial Hospital in Houston Tx, after a heroic battle with cancer. Mr Andrews was born August 10, 1959, and was a pipeliner and member of Local Teamster Union and Pipeliner Union. He enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola merchandise and tinkering with his hot rods. He is survived by his fiancee' Teri Lee; his mother, Freddie Andrews; a brother, Ricky Andrews and wife Kim; a sister, Wanda Stewart and husband Tommy; nephews, Ty Stewart and wife Stormy, Trey Stewart and Brittney; niece, Laura White and husband Brent; great nephews and nieces, Mark Barfield, Tres Stewart, Chase Stewart, Alec Stewart, Gaige West, Sophie and Lainey White, Brooklyn Stewart; extended family, Shaun, Tessa, and Trenton West, Brad, Stephanie, and Lexie West. Mr. Steven Andrews is preceded in death by his father, Hezron Keith Andrews; grandparents, Jody and Amie Andrews and Fred and Winnie Simpson; and great nephew Chase Bayless. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday July 30, 2011 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday July 31 at Golden Funeral Home with Dr. L. H. McCollough and Bro. Tim Post officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be, Ty Stewart, Trey Stewart, Dave Loche, Vince Faulkenberry, Dennis Galloway, and Ronnie Sasser. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Brad West, Shaun West, Bob Cooper, Richard Boyte, Collins Hammond, and Doug Simpson, Jr. The family would like to extend a very special thanks to True Care Home Health, Dr. John M. Coats V, Dr. Scott Barron, and U. of T. Oncology Medical Team of Houston.
