Obituary of Raymond J. "Eugene" Adams

Funeral services for Raymond J. "Eugene" Adams, age 78, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday June 20, 2007 at Bonne Idee Assembly of God with Rev. Jerry Stuckey and Rev. J.E. Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Bonne Idee Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Adams, a retired LPN, passed away Monday June 18, 2007 at Oak Woods in Mer Rouge, where he was a resident. Mr. Adams was the operator and a member of the Bonne Idee AA Chapter. He was also a member of Bonne Idee Assembly of God. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom & Lily Adams; brother, Charles Adams; grandson, Eddie Adams. He is survived by his former wife, Ruthie Adams of Bastrop, LA; children, Raymond E. Adams & wife Linda of Bastrop, LA, Monica Adams of Bastrop, LA; three sisters, Mildred Freeman of Hebert, LA, Omega Bienz of Collinston, LA, Glenda Temple of Bastrop, LA; brother, Dugan Adams of Bonita, LA; grandchildren, Priscilla Mayo and husband Jason of Bastrop, LA, Donna Mitchell and fiance' Joe Rainwater, Jr. of Bastrop, LA, Lisa Turnbow and husband Roy Lee, Jr. of Bastrop, LA, & Angela McDowell and husband Devon of West Monroe, LA; great grandchildren, Joshua McDowell of West Monroe, LA, Zachary McDowell of West Monroe, LA, Cheyenne Mayo of Bastrop, LA, and Jaycee Mayo of Bastrop, LA.
