Obituary of Bruce C. Woodson

Funeral arrangements for Mr. Bruce C. Woodson, age 55, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Woodson, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2011. He was a retired International Paper Company employee. He liked bull riding and was a member of the CRRA and the PRCA. He was an active member in the Cowboys for Christ for many years and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two granddaughters.
Mr. Woodson is survived by his wife, Veronica "Ronnie" Woodson; daughter, Duania Woodson Jones of Mt. View, MO; two sons, Bruce "B.J." Woodson, Jr. and wife Lauren of Holden, LA, Joshua Woodson and fiance Victoria of Bastrop, LA; sister, Connie Aud and husband Mike of Bastrop, LA; two brothers, Donnie Woodson of Linden, TX, David Woodson and wife Toni of Euless, TX; grandchildren, Christopher Jones, Katie Jones, Sylvia Jones, Bruce Woodson III, Angie-Lynn Woodson, William Woodson, Tony, Cain, Crysta, and Marley.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Woodson, Roger Andrews, Chris Andrews, Trey Holland, Jamie Holland, and Donald Keith "Duck" Saddler.
Ronnie Holland will be an honorary pallbearer.
