Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian White Cockrell, 93, of Bastrop, La. are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2007 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Elders Ralph Sandidge, Mayrn Ford and Rev. Britt Dupree officiating. Interment will be in Christ Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Cockrell, a homemaker and member of Friendship Primative Baptist Church (El Dorado, AR), passed away Monday, June 18, 2007 at Morehouse General Hospital.
She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Ann Lynch of West Monroe, LA, Elaine White of Bastrop, LA, Linda Sue Harkness of Kingwood, TX; three sons, Jerrel Clennon Cockrell of Searcy, AR, Ronald Ray Cockrell of Belleville, IL, Harold Hubert Cockrell of Bastrop, LA; three brothers, Benny White of Monroe, LA, Henry White of Hindville, AR, Wayne White of Kansas City, KS; eighteen grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Cockrell is preceded in death by her husband Julian Nelon Cockrell.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday at Golden Funeral Home.
