Funeral services for Estelle P. Crawford, age 83, of Bastrop will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2005 in the Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Brent officiating. Interment will follow in the Christ Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until service time on Sunday. Mrs. Crawford, a longtime employee of Ditto apparel passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2005 at the Cornerstone Hospital in West Monroe. She is survived by a daughter, Deanna Crawford Laing and Bruce Davidson of West Monroe, LA; five sisters, Vaughter Glover and husband Marvin of McGehee, AR, Sylvia Pierce of Hamburg, AR, Frances Wilson and husband Bill of Portland, AR, Bea Mazzanti and husband Joe of Lake Village, AR and Mary Breedlove of Crossett, AR; one brother, Henry Dave Hackett and wife Frances of Dermott, AR; two grandchildren, Christy Little and husband Tommy of Bastrop, LA and Joshua Laing and wife Nikki of West Monroe, LA; four great grandchildren, Dillon Goodwin, Brock Laing, Ainslee Little and Emma Laing; other extended family members, Shane Davidson and wife Donna and Will and Parker , Marcee Littlefield and husband Troy and Mary Grace. Mrs. Crawford is preceded in death by her husband, Dudley Dale Crawford of Bastrop; father, Simon Peoples; step father, Dave Hackett; mother, Lydia Jane Hackett; sister, Lucille Peoples and brother Cecil Peoples. In lieu of food and flowers the family wishes that donations be made to St. Judes or the Louisiana Baptist Childrens Home.
