Obituary of Jr. Borden

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Martin P. Borden, Jr., 63, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2007 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Marty Black officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Borden, a retiree for the city of Monroe, passed away at his residence Friday, June 22, 2007. He is preceded in death by his parents, Martin P. Borden, Sr. and Jewel Lee Borden. Mr. Borden is survived by his children, Terri Simpson and husband Bill of Bastrop, LA, Marvin Borden of Bastrop, LA, Steve Borden and wife Sandy of Mauriceville, TX; sister, Mary Ann Harris of Start, LA; four brothers, Charles Wayne Borden and wife Sue of Rayville, LA, Claude Lavelle Borden and wife Irma of Swartz, LA, Robert Eugene Borden and wife Phyllis of Portsmouth, OH; Randy Borden and wife Gail of Bald-Knob, AR; six grandchildren, Kesha Cockrell of Bastrop, LA, Kyle Sawyer and wife Jessica of Bastrop, LA, Chantry Borden of Jonesboro, LA, Charity Borden of Quitman, LA, Heather Borden of La Porte, TX, Early Ray Borden of Orange City, FL; three great grandchldren Chayse Cockrell of Bastrop, LA, Katie Sawyer of Bastrop, LA, Layla Borden of Jonesboro, LA and a special friend, Linda Hill of Bastrop, LA.
